Job description

Razor is looking for a Test Engineer to support the planning, execution, and documentation of testing activities for integrated Department of Defense systems. This role focuses on system verification and validation, functional and regression testing, defect tracking, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance testing throughout the system development lifecycle. Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Typically 3-7 years of relevant experience. Clearance Requirements: Active DoD Secret clearance required. U.S. Citizenship required. Location: Colorado Springs, CO Responsibilities: * Develop test plans, procedures, and test cases * Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing * Verify system requirements and document test results * Track software defects and validate corrective actions * Support customer acceptance testing activities * Analyze system logs and troubleshoot test failures * Produce test reports and engineering documentation * Participate in test readiness reviews and technical meetings * Execute both manual and automated testing activities * Support system verification and validation throughout the software development lifecycle Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) * 3-7 years of software or systems testing experience * Experience with software testing and system testing methodologies * Experience developing and maintaining test documentation * Linux and Windows experience * Networking fundamentals * Experience using defect tracking tools * Active DoD Secret clearance Desired Skills: * Python * Wireshark * Jira * GitLab * Jenkins * Automated testing * VMware * Docker * Cybersecurity testing * Performance testing Employer Information: Razor is an EEO Employer.
