Position Overview
The Supply Chain Process and Data Analyst is a new SubCom position that will work across the end-to-end supply and value chain to deliver precision, velocity, and quality results. From the import of foreign sourced raw materials and components, through our new Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), to ship loading and installation around the world, the Supply Chain Process and Data Analyst will have the opportunity to create business value through data analysis and presentation, dashboard development, process development, re-engineering, creating core documents and databases, forming value-added partnerships internally and externally, mitigating risk, in the pursuit of continuous improvement and flawless execution. The Supply Chain Process and Data Analyst will use their process and data experience and expertise to create the next-gen process and data core capabilities environment. This is a new role reporting to the Global Supply Chain Operations Leader.
The Supply Chain Process and Data Analyst optimizes logistics, inventory, and procurement by analyzing data to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. They collect and interpret data from ERP and other systems (e.g., Oracle, ShipNet) to create spend and performance reports, identify buying patterns and repeat purchases, and identify process improvements, collaborating with logistics and procurement teams.
Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards (Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to track KPIs like inventory turnover, delivery times, supplier performance, and others.
  • Process Development, Documentation, and Digitization: Create integrated process diagrams, including the physical, information, and financial flows, align with accountability matrix (RACI) and curate in a digital repository.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bottlenecks in the end-to-end supply chain to optimize costs and boost velocity, quality, and performance.
  • Program, Project Management: Oversee greenfield and improvement initiatives to ensure proper planning, charter development, team management, adherence to stage-gate phases, and reporting status / progress.
  • Master Data Management: Maintain data integrity across systems (ERP, SQL), ensuring accurate procurement and warehouse records.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate internally across the Plan, Buy, Make, Deliver process areas to ensure continuity of supply, pace of initiatives, and continuous improvement activity to proactively address issues, minimize disruptions, and respond quickly to supply chain events.

Qualifications
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Macros) is essential. Knowledge of SQL, Python, or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is often required.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of logistics, procurement, production planning, and inventory management.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate data insights to cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience preferably in high tech electronics, discrete manufacturing or marine operations management
  • Curious: A curious and questioning mindset to challenge paradigms and identify the root cause and factors
  • Attention to Detail: Precision is essential to creating a high-velocity and impactful decision-making process
