A Raw Materials Manager is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the inventory of raw materials needed for manufacturing or production processes. They work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, negotiate prices and contracts, and monitor quality standards. Additionally, they coordinate with other departments to forecast material needs, minimize costs, and maintain optimal inventory levels. Their role is crucial to ensuring smooth operations and preventing production delays due to material shortages.
