The Raw Materials Coordinator is a critical manufacturing support role responsible for the end-to-end ordering, inventory management, and availability of all raw materials and concentrate required for plant operations, maintains inventory accuracy, compliance, quality standards, and cost discipline


Responsibilities

End-to-End Raw Materials Ownership

  • Own the ordering, purchasing, and inventory management of all raw materials required for manufacturing, including, Concentrate and concentrate components
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for raw material availability to support production plans and daily execution.
  • Ensure uninterrupted material supply while balancing inventory health, cost, and compliance.

Inventory Management & Control

  • Monitor and manage raw material inventory levels to support production needs while optimizing inventory turns.
  • Conduct regular physical inventories, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure system accuracy.
  • Enforce and audit First In, First Out (FIFO) and First Expired, First Out (FEFO) practices across all raw materials, including concentrates.
  • Actively identify and mitigate risks related to waste, obsolescence, and out-of-date materials, driving corrective actions.
  • Lead or support root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies, losses, or expirations.

Concentrate & Systems Capability

  • Own the integration of concentrate ordering and systems associated
  • Ensure accurate transactions and data integrity across all systems used for raw materials and concentrate management.
  • Partner with Planning, Quality, and Performance managers to ensure compliance with all concentrate handling and reporting requirements.

Production Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Actively participate in production planning, scheduling, and operational meetings to align material & concentrate availability with manufacturing plans. Communicate material, constraints, and support mitigation plans proactively

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Partner closely with Food Safety & Quality teams to address quality issues, holds, or non-conformances.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and traceability of materials in partnership with the Warehouse team.

Travel: 5%

Compensation and Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,200 - $90,200.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
