10 LOCAL  OWNER OPERATORS NEEDED – EAST GWILLIMBURY

  • Starting and ending East Gwillimbury,  ON
  • Ideal for drivers living in Bradford, Sharon, East Gwillimbury, Keswick and Mount Albert 
  • Full time – 6 days per week expected
  • Dedicated customer, grocery

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Clean drivers abstract and CVOR
  • Satisfactory pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid AZ License
  • Satisfactory current background screening (Criminal and Judicial Matters)
  • Excellent communication
  • Reliable & punctual
  • Truck; 2011 or newer – must past inspection; mechanically & visually

Responsibilities:

  • Driving equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • live load, dock-to-dock
  • Completing all applicable paperwork electronically, including PTIs
  • Using and maintaining ISAAC ELD software
  • Responsible for communicating with Dispatch
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner
  • Be able to perform physical work at times (lifting in excess of 50lbs)
  • Observing and complying with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act
