Description
Morasch Meats Inc., a family run food processing company for over 60 years is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to work in food production.
We work with the best in quality beef, chicken, pork and lamb. Our products include hand cut steaks to ground beef, portion cuts/retail ready cuts and packed products. Our facility also operates NW Naturals, LLC., which produces and packages raw, frozen and freeze- dried animal diets for dogs and cats.
Successful applicants will possess:
  • A positive and focused attitude.
  • Motivation to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • The ability sustain dependable and reliable work attendance.
  • The ability to work in a 34 - 36 degree, refrigerated environment.
  • The ability to lift 25-50lbs on a regular basis.
  • The ability to stand for entire shift.
  • The ability to work weekends and the desire to work overtime, if needed.
  • The ability to uphold GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety guidelines.
  • Have reliable personal transportation - Unfortunately public transportation does not support some production hours.

Job Duties: Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Room 1 - Meat Cutters
Meat Cutters - Cutting of primals, portion control, saw cutting
Packagers - Packaging, bagging, loading trays, labeling,temperature checks.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized working environment.
Follow safety and operational training.
Equipment used - Vacuum chamber, scale, bag sealer, ban sealer, Omni, Rhino, roll stock.
Room 2 Packagers
Packaging, bagging, loading trays, labeling, temperature checks.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized working environment.
Follow safety and operational training.
Equipment used - Vacuum chamber, scale, bag sealer, ban sealer, Omni, Rhino, roll stock.
Room 3 - Packagers, Equipment Operators,
Packaging, bagging, sorting product on conveyor belt, labeling, temperature checks.
Follow safety and operational training.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized working environment.
Equipment and tools used - Vacuum chamber, scale, tape machine, bag sealer, band sealer, clipper, metal detector, train to be an equipment operator.
