Job description

Description Salary Range: $69,500 to $83,200 per year Direct the pickup and transportation of chicken from ranch to processing plants. Make decisions on how many birds per crew will be picked up. Check on crews while at the ranches and assuring all is going as scheduled and correct any problems necessary. Establish and enforce company and department safety, animal welfare, biosecurity and production standards. Provide necessary training for all employees including new hires. Supervise the training of truck and forklift drivers. Qualifications Have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience. Knowledge of poultry transportation preferred but not required. Must have good communication skills both verbal and written. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to work in extreme cold/hot, dusty environment. Must have ability to acquire a class A Commercial Driver's License. Must have and maintain an acceptable DMV driving record. Ability to follow and enforce all company rules, policies and procedures. Ability to work various shifts including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to meet production standards and deadlines.
