Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ABAD Test Coordinator and Analyst that will plan and coordinate testing, training, and evaluation activities for the Air Base Air Defense (ABAD) program. **This position is located at Ramstein AFB, Germany (International Assignment) **NO REMOTE WORK**

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Plan, coordinate, manage, and execute Air Base Air Defense (ABAD) test, training, and evaluation activities in support of theater objectives.

  • Lead enhancement of baseline ABAD capabilities in the Ramstein Air Defense Systems Integration Laboratory (RADSIL) to counter threats from UAS through cruise missiles.

  • Provide test and training support for events ranging from small internal activities to large joint and coalition exercises.

  • Liaise with host nation coordination cells to ensure ABAD integration into NATO and partner nation exercises.

  • Represent ABAD at conferences, meetings, and planning events where the command has critical air base air defense interests.

  • Inform leadership on impacts to national, international, and other ABAD systems or programs that affect posture, practices, or readiness.

  • Provide expert insight on European, NATO, and partner-nation requirements, including airspace, legal, spectrum, basing, and environmental considerations.

  • Distill key data from acquisition programs (development, funding, and reporting) to inform ABAD planning and decision-making.

  • Conduct analysis within the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) planning process to develop courses of action for employment of equipment, weapons, tactics, strategy, doctrine, organization, training, and facilities.

  • Perform systematic analysis of complex, ambiguous problems to develop test and training solutions.

  • Produce ABAD operational and test data products to support lessons learned, and validation/verification of test objectives.

  • Coordinate with internal ABAD and external engineering teams to maintain awareness of emerging technologies and their operational implications.

  • Utilize all-source intelligence, from classified and unclassified sources, to support assessments and respond to command and subordinate staff requests for information.

  • Support Range Training Officers (RTO), threat replication, and IT functions for in-garrison and TDY operations across U.S. Air Forces in Europe.

  • Develop execution and debriefing capabilities in White, Blue, and Red cells, including those not affiliated with multi-national venues or participants.

  • Prepare and deliver multimedia presentations, information papers, and assessments to command-level audiences.

  • Prepare and report on staff action packages for senior leadership review and decision.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field, or equivalent work experience that meets guidelines established for job plus 5+ years of related professional experience.

  • Familiarity with U.S. Air Force organization, structure, and mission sets.

  • Experience designing tests to measure assessment requirements.

  • Experience building relationships with supporting elements to facilitate more effective and efficient tests.

  • Advanced knowledge of principles and practices in the functional area, acquired through formal education.

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to document and refine complex system requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective user training and support.

  • Ability to manage projects and exercise independent judgement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced system analysis tools and methodologies.

  • Effective time-management and organizational skills.

  • Active DoD SECRET security clearance required
