Hours/FTE: 40/1.0 FTE This position may include regional travel and require occasional night and weekend commitments.

Expected Starting Salary Range: $31 – 39/hr

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and highly motivated individual, joining a highly collaborative team and will need to display that same trait. This is a hybrid position with 50% remote and 50% in office work.

Working as a Donor Relations Officer II at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center you will:

· Execute strategies which will enhance relationships with corporations, businesses and/or other entities that result in $1M - $1.5M in sponsorship revenue to Cincinnati Children's signature events and secondary events.

· Make sponsorship solicitations through personal visits, phone calls and email, managing a portfolio of corporations and businesses. Track and report the status of sponsorship totals at regular meetings and communicate weekly to ensure all sponsors are receiving benefits, leading initiatives to creatively steward and acknowledge key sponsors and individual donors.

· Work through an evolving portfolio of corporate prospects and suspects with a goal of securing qualification meetings utilizing outreach and discovery, connecting with decision makers at local and national organizations and effectively speaking to all the ways in which they can partner with Cincinnati Children’s. The Corporate Officer may also manage a small corporate portfolio of current donors including event sponsors.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5 years of working experience in a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

· Strong written, presentation, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills

· Experience with Raiser’s Edge
