Job description

IKOS is a leading consulting firm specializing in railway and energy engineering.

IKOS continues to show strong growth worldwide with 33 offices in 15 different countries. Since our establishment in 2005, we have accompanied our clients in all areas of railway including : signaling and control systems, rolling stock, low voltage and telecommunications, high voltage and infrastructure.

Qualifications
  • Previous work experience in the railway/transportation field (at least one year of internship).
  • Excellent English knowledge (C1).

Are you passionate about, or have you already had the opportunity to work in, one (or more) of the following areas:

  • Railway Telecom & IoT Devices:Passenger information system (PIS), Automatic Passenger Counting, Passenger Announcements Systems (PAS), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Wifi, TETRA, GSM-R, 3G, 4G & 5G.
  • Infrastructure and Construction: Track Design and Alignment, Stations, ADA Compliance, Escalators & Elevators, Bridges, Platform Screen Doors (PSD), Soil, Steal, Concrete Inspections, Project & Construction Management (PM/CM).
  • Rolling Stock: Train Control Management System (TCMS), Doors, Brakes, HVAC, Auxiliary Power, On-board Traction-Power.
  • Electrification: 3rd Rail Systems, DC Substations, AC/DC Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) design and installation.
Practices
  • Systems, requirements and/or control engineering.
  • Field Installation, testing and commissioning.
  • Verification and Validation.
  • Software, Hardware, and System Design of train control, electrification and communication systems.
  • Predictive Maintenance Solutions.
  • Technical Writing and Training.
  • Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) โ€“ FRA Standards, IEEE, MIL STD, CENELEC.
  • Manufacturing Process and Industrial Engineering (Process improvement, Six Sigma, SAP, work plans, DFM, DFA).
