A Railroad Track Foreman is responsible for overseeing a crew of workers during track installation, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards. This includes assigning tasks, inspecting track conditions, operating and supervising the use of heavy machinery, and coordinating schedules to minimize rail traffic disruptions. The Foreman also communicates with engineers, train dispatchers, and other supervisors to plan and execute projects safely and efficiently.
