Core Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating, tracking, and monitoring Road, Ocean, and Air shipments to ensure timely and efficient transportation execution. Customer and carrier communication, transportation problem solving, and maintaining accurate shipment records
Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator
Shift: Monday - Friday, 09:30AM - 6:00 PM
Pay: $20.75/ Hour

A minimum of 1 year transportation/logistics experience is required.

Role Purpose:
Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.
  • Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
  • Track and trace all shipments.
  • Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) - SAP.
  • Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
  • Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.
  • Proactively identify problems to management.
  • Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.
  • Prepare client invoice packets
  • Confirm rates with carriers.

Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
  • 6 months - 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually
