Job description

Seeking an experienced Cerner RadNet Application Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will design, build, test, and support RadNet solutions while collaborating with radiology departments, clinical staff, and IT teams to troubleshoot system issues, support end-users, and ensure smooth imaging workflows.


  • Build, test, and maintain front-end and back-end RadNet tools, including accession setup, RadExam Management, complex order builds, and charge/location setups.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, radiologists, and technologists to understand clinical workflows and optimize imaging operations.
  • Ensure system configurations comply with healthcare regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Provide production support and root-cause analysis for RadNet and related clinical imaging applications.
  • Act as the primary liaison between IT and end-users, troubleshooting workflow issues and providing timely resolution or escalation of problems.

REQUIRED:
1. B.S. Degree in Nursing, Business, Systems, or related field or Five (5) years healthcare financial or clinical experience

2. Two (2) years healthcare financial, clinical systems, or training experience (with B.S. Degree)

3. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with the design, configuration, and support of clinical imaging applications, specifically Cerner RadNet.

4. Familiarity with front-end order entry, radiology workflow, and back-end RadNet tools (e.g., DCP Tools, RadDBTools).

5. Working knowledge of multiple imaging modalities (CT, MRI, XR, US, etc.).

6. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business and clinical language.
