Family Nurse Practitioner / Outpatient Primary Care Clinic (DAY)

Radius Staffing Solutions is partnering with an established healthcare organization in Central California to identify a Family Nurse Practitioner for a direct hire, permanent placement opportunity in an outpatient clinic setting. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care services across a diverse patient population while working collaboratively with experienced physicians and clinical staff. The organization emphasizes patient-centered care, clinical quality, and strong interdisciplinary teamwork.

This position is well suited for an FNP who values autonomy within a collaborative environment and enjoys building long-term patient relationships in an outpatient primary care setting.


Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to clinic patients following established clinical protocols and physician collaboration guidelines.
  • Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and complete physical examinations appropriate to each patient encounter.
  • Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses under established treatment protocols.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing including laboratory studies, EKGs, imaging, and other appropriate procedures.
  • Prescribe medications and implement treatment plans in accordance with clinical protocols and supervising physician oversight.
  • Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and clinical findings accurately within the medical record system.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and clinic personnel to coordinate patient care and support efficient patient flow.
  • Provide patient education, triage support, and clinical guidance to staff as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and committee activities as assigned.
  • Maintain compliance with clinic policies, medical staff bylaws, billing documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
  • Active California Nurse Practitioner or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
  • BLS certification required
  • Prior outpatient primary care, family practice, or community health experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to manage both acute and chronic patient conditions in an outpatient setting
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong patient education and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize patient care needs while maintaining efficient workflow and documentation standards
