Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.
Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.

  • Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures. Radiographic procedures must not include CT, the use of contrast media, and mammographic equipment.
  • Performs and ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific patient care in a holistic manner.
  • Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns.
  • Completes documentation of patient x-ray record and Quality Control processes.
  • Performs value-added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Current enrollment at the senior level in a school of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), upon hire
  • Medical Radiographer Temporary: NE, upon hire or
  • Limited Radiologic Technologist: NE, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
