Radiographic Aide I

City of Hope's growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and treatment facilities in Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix. Our dedicated and compassionate employees are driven by a common mission: To deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today. Join our team as a Radiographic Aide I, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Radiation Oncology department. Responsibilities include assisting technologists and radiology nursing staff in coordinating patient flow, preparing exam rooms, managing supplies and linen, screening patients for exams/procedures, facilitating patient transport, and ensuring efficient exam room turnover. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, this opportunity is perfect for you.

As a successful candidate, you will: Assist in verifying and accompanying patients from the waiting room to exam areas. Prepare patients for procedures to include but not limited to contrast and metal screening, gowning and positioning. Assist in procedure room preparation to include but not limited to stacking of linen, stocking of supplies, cleaning and disinfection of equipment, requesting of EVS and linen services as needed. Coordinate patient transport, and transports patients as needed.

Your qualifications should include: High School or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) Prior Customer Service Volunteer work is preferred
