Job description

Under general supervision, installs, operates, tests and repairs various units of the Fire Department radio system; and does related work as required. Installs, operates, tests and maintains amplifiers, oscillators and public address systems in fire stations and on mobile units of the Fire Department. Installs, tests and maintains various units of the Fire Department air raid warning system.

Maintains repair records. 2 years of experience required in related work. Must be a resident of the city of Boston.
