Mobius is seeking a Spectrum Management Specialist. This role focuses on advancing mission-critical initiatives through comprehensive spectrum lifecycle management—including system certification, frequency authorization, interference resolution, and global deployment coordination. This position is located in Huntsville, AL. Duties of a Spectrum Management Specialist may include: * Provide direct operational and administrative support to the MDA SMO (CED) under the Specialty Engineering Director.
* Manage and maintain the Frequency Authorization tracker for all MDA missions, ensuring absolute data accuracy and consistency.
* Develop, author, and submit System Certifications (DD1494) utilizing STEPSTONE and EL-CID programs.
* Develop, coordinate, and submit frequency authorization requests utilizing Spectrum XXI (SXXI) for developmental, fielded, and new systems.
* Develop, update, and maintain critical reports and databases to support operational and engineering activities.
* Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues between developmental and deployed systems.
* Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharing and team efficiency.
* Develop, update, compile, and submit Host Nation Coordination (HNC) packets and Site Surveys for globally deploying systems.
Qualifications * 7+ years of relevant experience
* Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) theory and electromagnetic principles.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and strict attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Teams.
