Job description

RF Engineer will support the planning and performance optimization activities for WCDMA/LTE (3G/4G) networks using enterprise post-processing and KPI reporting applications by following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Planning and optimizing WCDMA and LTE (3G-4G) networks
  • Conducting drive tests, analyzing log files, and troubleshooting network KPIs
  • Performing frequency, scrambling code, and PCI planning
  • Analyzing capacity and coverage to improve network performance
  • Implementing new features and fine-tuning parameters for existing networks
  • Performing cluster and site-level performance audits and coverage gap analysis
  • Using engineering tools for post-processing and reporting
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to develop RF strategies and quality standards

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, or equivalent or related field
  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience as an RF Engineer, Telecom Engineer or related
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with WCDMA/LTE (3G/4G) Radio Network Planning and Optimization, including KPI analysis, drive test review, and coverage/capacity planning
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in WCDMA/LTE (3G/4G) design and optimization, including parameter tuning, feature implementation, and troubleshooting of network performance issues
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using at least one RF planning and optimization tool, such as Atoll, Actix, or TEMS
