Position Overview

Radiant Life Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) to join our team in a fulfilling remote position. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify their unique needs and challenges.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s situation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including billing records, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring compliance with the specified timeliness standards.
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies aimed at supporting stable functioning for your clients.
• Prepare discharge plans to facilitate a smooth transition for clients when therapy concludes.
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state laws as well as internal policies and procedures related to mental health practice.
• Stay current in the field through ongoing professional development, participating in training and continuing education opportunities.
• Engage actively in case consultation meetings and interdisciplinary agency meetings to enhance care coordination.
• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training in accordance with state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. You'll have the opportunity to engage with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, relationship problems, and other mental health disorders. Our focus on culturally competent care ensures that all treatments are approached with respect and understanding of each patient’s unique context.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field is required, leading to licensure.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Washington is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient counseling setting is preferred, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation and billing purposes will be beneficial.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of socio-cultural factors affecting mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive at $80,000 – $100,000 annually, commensurate with your licensing and experience. In addition to the attractive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
