Job description

Overview

This position is for an experienced Warehouse/Production Operator who will be responsible for performing production / warehousing duties in SAP system including goods receipt, material put away, component inspection, cycle counting, and staging and picking of materials for production. Assist other departments as needed.

Location: This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Performs daily routine tasks: receives, stores, picks, packs, ships and/or distributes materials while performing real-time transactions in SAP ERP system.
  • Weights/dispenses chemicals to manufacturing team based on system demand signals.
  • Performs cycle counts and other inventory transactions.
  • Verifies goods received against documentation.
  • Performs initial quality check on incoming products.
  • Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
  • Utilizes motorized and non-motorized equipment to move materials, parts, supplies and equipment as instructed. May operate a forklift.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must be able to drive a forklift and become certified internally.
  • Experience: Related shipping/receiving experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with perishable products preferred.
  • Skills: Microsoft and Excel familiarity, SAP experience is plus.
  • Goal-oriented team contributor.

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate for this position is $21.20 to $29.13  at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
