As an IR Tech, you will:
  • Assist radiologists during interventional procedures by preparing and maintaining imaging equipment.
  • Position patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to capture real-time images.
  • Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Prepare contrast media and assist with patient monitoring during procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
  • Document procedures and update patient records accurately.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.

A few must-haves for IR Techs:
  • Active Rad Tech licensed within the state of Indiana
  • 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
  • 1 year of Level I trauma experience
  • Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
