Job description
Wedgewood Golf & Country Club, established in 1991 and located in Central Ohio, offers top-tier club facilities and services designed for members' enjoyment and relaxation. Our Georgian-style clubhouse spans 49,500 square feet and provides commanding views of the ninth and eighteenth greens. Renowned for our challenging and impeccably designed golf course by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., we also boast a full calendar of member events, fitness, tennis, pickleball, and swimming programs. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Racquets Professional at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club in Powell, OH. The Assistant Racquets Professional will assist with the day-to-day operations of the racquets program, including organizing and conducting tennis and pickleball clinics, maintaining courts, and providing lessons. This role also involves promoting and coordinating events, interacting with members to enhance their experience, and supporting the director of racquets on court as well as handling various administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in Tennis and Pickleball instruction and coaching
- Ability to organize and conduct clinics, events, and private lessons
- Skills in program development and member engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in maintaining courts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certified by a recognized racquets sport body (e.g., USPTA or PTR certification) is preferred
- Previous experience in a club setting is a plus
- Must be skilled with club software, Google and Microsoft.
