These systems consist of several compressors connected in parallel on a shared manifold or 'rack,' allowing for efficient load sharing and redundancy. Rack refrigeration offers improved energy efficiency, easier maintenance, and better temperature control compared to individual refrigeration units. They are essential in environments where reliable and consistent cooling is necessary for preserving perishable goods.
