Pro-Serv Facility Solutions / Pro-Serv Food Equipment is a rapidly growing commercial service company providing Refrigeration, HVAC, Cooking Equipment, Plumbing, Hood & Exhaust, and Facility Services throughout the Carolinas.
Our mission is simple provide fast, professional, high-quality service while building long-term relationships with our customers and team members.
We are currently seeking an experienced Rack Refrigeration Technician to join our growing refrigeration division.
Position Summary
The Rack Refrigeration Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems including rack systems, walk-in coolers/freezers, EMS controls, and related refrigeration equipment.
This position requires strong troubleshooting ability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair supermarket and commercial refrigeration systems
  • Troubleshoot parallel rack systems and refrigeration controls
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls
  • Work on walk-in coolers, freezers, cases, and related equipment
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and refrigeration schematics
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Accurately complete work orders, notes, and documentation
  • Maintain company vehicle inventory and organization
  • Follow all company safety and operational procedures
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience preferred
  • Experience with rack refrigeration systems required
  • Experience with EMS / controls preferred
  • EPA Certification required
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record
  • Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
