Job description

As a Mechanical Installer, you will join our Installation team supporting large-scale material handling and conveyor system projects across the continental United States. This role is responsible for the layout, pre-assembly, installation, and run-in of conveyor equipment, including structural and header steel, platforms, guardrail, rack systems, and air piping.
Successful candidates will bring 1-5 years of hands-on installation experience, the ability to read engineered drawings, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This is a 100% travel position requiring extended stays at job sites and the ability to work in physically demanding construction environments while supporting and guiding less experienced personnel.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $44,800 to $61,600 salary at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What you will do in this Role:
  • Coordinate the layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems, ensuring flawless component integration.
  • Install overhead steel beams, elevated walkways, structural steel, and various mechanical components with precision.
  • Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron).
  • Interpret and work from detailed mechanical drawings, layout diagrams, and assembly instructions to successfully implement project plans.
  • Adhere strictly to safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company quality standards to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in a safe condition.
  • Be ready for a role that involves 100% travel, with extensive trips across the U.S.
  • Physically handle jobsite demands, including lifting at least 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and walking across large construction sites in various climates and conditions

What we are looking for:
  • Preferred ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings.
  • Are good communicators and are willing to take direction to ensure projects meet stringent standards.
  • Hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent experience, with technical degrees or specialized training preferred.
  • Basic Mechanical and Technical Curiosity
  • Can acquire OSHA 10 certification upon hire.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment is preferred.
  • Some computer experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and hand tools are required.
