Job description

Ability to manage a crew. Capable of identifying, pulling and labeling CAT6, CAT6A, fiber optic, and Access Control cable. Installing support structures (J-hooks, support rings, and cable tray / ladder rack). Termination of work station outlets and closet equipment (110 & 66 blocks, Patch Panels). This position will have some exposure to fiber terminations (specific experience will be given for each individual in this area). Experience with both ends of basic level testing as well as high level testing and documentation. Termination experience with multi-pair / stranded cable (Copper and fiber). Capable of reading blue prints, identifying cable paths and offer assistance with site surveys, and bidding. Familair with EIA/TIA/BICSI 568B Standards. Knowledge of surveillance cameras, access control, and wireless is a plus.
