This includes systems like microphones, speakers, projectors, video conferencing tools, and digital displays. AV professionals work in various settings such as events, corporate meetings, entertainment venues, and educational institutions to ensure high-quality audiovisual experiences. Their responsibilities often involve troubleshooting technical issues and integrating new technologies into existing systems.

To excel as an Audio Video Technician, you need technical knowledge of AV systems, troubleshooting abilities, and often a relevant certification or associate degree. Familiarity with equipment like mixers, projectors, video conferencing platforms, and control systems such as Crestron or Extron is commonly required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills help you effectively support events and collaborate with clients or team members. These competencies ensure seamless AV operations, minimize downtime, and deliver high-quality experiences for audiences and stakeholders.
