The Principal Engineer remainstechnically engaged with Oracle 19c and EBS R12.x while setting OCI architecture standards, owning the SOXcontrol environment, directing the Oracle Cloud Services team as a delivery program, and owning the platformwork beneath the EBS-to-Fusion migration.ResponsibilitiesOracle Database and EBS EngineeringThe Principal Engineer provides technical leadership for Oracle 19c and EBS R12.x across Production, Test,Development, and Disaster Recovery. The role establishes the runbooks andoperational standards supporting 24x7 availability and leads root cause analysis to reduce recurring incidents. While not performing testing directly, the Principal Engineer is accountable for test coverage and executionahead of patching and platform changes, and for communicating maintenance windows, change timing, andexpected impact across the technology organization.OCI Architecture, Security, and ComplianceThis role owns OCI architecture to Oracle Well-Architected and landing-zone standards, includingcompartment design, tenancy and IAM governance, network design, and infrastructure-as-code withTerraform.
