Job Summary:

They are seeking a Manager for IT Infrastructure to oversee the IT team, manage day-to-day operations, and lead IT projects related to Network Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Security, and Laboratory Environments.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Manage the IT team and ensure all resources are working optimally
โ€ข Provide coaching and performance evaluation of local IT resources
โ€ข Plan, acquire and coordinate installation of in-house hardware and software across the organization
โ€ข Recommend desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment
โ€ข Maintain and steward a budget for desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment assigned by Director, IT Infrastructure
โ€ข Analyze processes employed by Quva Pharma to utilize, design, implement, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain technology strategies, desktops, laptops, and ancillary equipment to meet business needs and improve client interaction
โ€ข Plan, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate Information Technology training programs; Assess and analyze training needs
โ€ข Recommend policies and procedures that pertain to desktop, laptop, and ancillary equipment utilization and IT Security
โ€ข Research, evaluate, test, and recommend software applications
โ€ข Advise staff on technology and IT security issues and planning
โ€ข Evaluate, plan, test, and implement desktop and laptop system security and auditing
โ€ข Educate and promote knowledge sharing / cross training within the infrastructure team
โ€ข Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and associated plans for network resource administration and appropriate use
โ€ข Conduct research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts
โ€ข Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, UPSs, and so on
โ€ข Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems
โ€ข Test server performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining server infrastructure
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
โ€ข Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology with a history of progressively greater responsibilities
โ€ข Working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Desktop Cloning/Imaging, Networking theory and concepts, Backup and Recovery methods, Active Directory, Office 365, Server and Desktop Virtualization, SAN technologies, Cloud Storage, SDWAN technologies, and VOIP Telecommunications
โ€ข 18+ years of age
โ€ข Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
โ€ข Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
Preferred:
โ€ข Prior Experience working in GxP environments
โ€ข Knowledge of the following a plus: .NET, T-SQL, Training/Education development, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity, Citrix, Rubric, Azure / AWS Cloud Platforms and VMware
โ€ข Certifications: MCSE, MCSA, CCNP, CISSP, GSEC
