We are looking for someone who has at least 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety Management. A degree in Safety is preferred but not required. Benefits effective 1st of the month following hire date. Generous PTO policy. Competitive pay scale. Provides leadership in EHS across all three (3) facilities located at TI Automotive Gallatin, TN, including: Plant 1, Plant 2, and Offsite shared warehouse facility.Provides EHS training and expands/improves training initiatives as necessary. This includes off-shift and/or weekend initiatives as necessary.Leads emergency response activities, training and coordination amongst all shifts.Serves as a 24-hr contact for the facility in the case of emergency and provides incident command as needed in emergency situationsLeads and/or coordinates all incident investigation including a strong focus on root cause analysis and preventionAssists in general plant security support and leadership including awareness of security concerns, supporting HR during separation points as needed, supporting in drug and alcohol investigations, and investigating concerns associated with violent threats.Leads and expands upon OSHA and TI Automotive Health and Safety Management system policies and procedures through rigorous hazard identification, change management, inspection and auditing activitiesOversees TI Automotive Gallatin's worker's compensation program, builds capacity through establishing provider networks, return-to-work programs, light-duty programs and associated response and follow-up.Lead activities for TI Automotive Gallatin's Joint Health and Safety CommitteePromotes and/or initiates capital/equipment safety needsEnsure TI Automotive's ISO14001 EMS and ISO45001 HSMS are in continual compliance and improved regularly.Understands and improves on ergonomic standards, job demands analysis and builds on early intervention activities.Lead all external regulatory or customer driven site visits and auditsSupport TI Automotive corporate goals and objectives and provide data on site complianceSupport all internal and external EMS and HSMS auditsCommunicate safety effectively at all levels within the organization, including Sr Management, Employee Communication Meetings, JHSC and by creating a presence on the manufacturing floor with all employeesProvides a voice of Safety First in all facets of TI Automotive Gallatin leadership and promotes a strong safety culture at all levels through goals, incentives and positive feedback
