Role Description The Quoting Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Aurora, CO. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates and quotations for electronic manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, and overhead. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing customer drawings and specifications, analyzing bills of materials, coordinating with purchasing and production to obtain pricing and process information, and identifying cost drivers and risks. The Quoting Engineer collaborates closely with sales, engineering, and operations to clarify requirements, optimize manufacturability, and ensure that quotes align with company capabilities and margin targets. This position also maintains quotation records, updates pricing databases, supports process improvements in the quoting workflow, and provides technical input during customer discussions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in estimating or quoting within electronics manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and customer specifications.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost modeling, margin calculations, and pricing comparisons.
