We are looking to add the right people who will support our company mission, vision and values. We are currently seeking a National Sales Manager to join our team.
Your mission as the National Sales Manager is to develop your sales team to promote and develop the Quincy Service Business across the United States. You will work with the Quincy management team to determine targets, goals and develop the overall Serivce business for Quincy Compressor.
Your success in this role is determined by your ability to be customer oriented, while finding the most suitable value proposition for the customer. This position will require you to be highly organized, able to prioritize and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for developing a strategic sales territory goals and targets for the Quincy Sales Team. We expect you to be able to follow market trends and to challenge the status quo, looking for innovative solutions for an ever-changing customer and market scenario.
Essential Duties:
• Develop and assist in the assignment of individual sales and expense budgets for each Sales Manager and their team of Sales Engineers in accordance with company goals and budgets.
• Achieve contribution targets established in the annual business plan/budget, with ultimate responsibility for regional financial targets.
• Provide regular reporting of business results, trends, and competitive information.
• When deviations from the business plan occur, propose and implement corrective actions to bring the business back in line with planning.
• Control overall expenses while maximizing company assets and human resources in accordance with the company business plan.
• Contribute significantly to the market business development strategy to achieve the Company's ambition to dramatically grow market share and market penetration in the region, with a strong focus on key account development.
• Identify and establish key direct customers and coordinate sales strategies.
• Explore the market for new business opportunities in niche market segments.
• Represent the company at regional trade associations, shows and conferences.
• Recruit, manage, train, develop and motivate regional personnel, including Sales Engineers and other administrative support personnel.
• Coordinate regional sales meetings to provide product and skills training, goal setting, and motivation.
Expereince & Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering preferred
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the industrial compressor industry
Skills & Competencies Desired:
• Must have a solid understanding of the industrial air compressor business, with proven sales and marketing experience in the compressor industry.
• Demonstrated leadership, management, communications, and planning skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and email. Experience with IBM Lotus Notes applications and CTP preferred.
• Must have a good command of the English language.
• Travel required.
