Kinetico Advanced Water Systems is a growing water treatment company dedicated to providing high-quality residential and commercial water treatment systems that improve water quality and protect homes and businesses. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Generalist to support the full spectrum of our accounting and administrative operations. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting efficient day-to-day business functions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate thrives on variety, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and has extensive hands-on experience with Service Titan and QuickBooks Online. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, vendor payments, and customer collections.
• Provide payroll support, including time and attendance processing, payroll-related journal entries, and reconciliation of payroll liabilities.
• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile financial reports, generate accurate financial statements, and produce ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Perform timely bank reconciliations, including credit card expense tracking, matching, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Oversee fleet vehicle management for company vehicles, including scheduling and tracking of inspections, registrations, toll payments, and related expense reporting.
• Handle cash management duties, including daily cash reconciliations, deposits, and petty cash oversight.
• Perform additional general administrative work as required to support the finance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive Service Titan experience is required (must be proficient in using the platform for service, billing, and financial workflows).
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online (must be able to manage the full accounting cycle independently).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent relevant accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a service-based or field-service industry.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a proven track record of maintaining accuracy in high-volume transaction environments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with operations, sales, and management teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in the home services, plumbing, or water treatment industry.
• Familiarity with additional accounting or ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
