Job description

Quick Check is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our back-of-house team. If you have a passion for food preparation, maintaining a pristine kitchen, and thriving in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. This role focuses on food production and kitchen operations.
Job Summary
As a Cook at Quick Check, you'll be responsible for the efficient and safe preparation and cooking of all food items. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
General Duties
Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during all food preparation.
Receive vendor deliveries as required.
Demonstrate a complete understanding of all menu items and their preparation.
Operate all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Clean, sanitize, and stock food preparation areas thoroughly.
Perform other back-of-house tasks as directed by the store manager.
Requirements
Ability to work a flexible shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Successful completion of a background investigation.
Ability to successfully obtain a Food Handler's Certificate.
Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to assist team members.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to perform tasks requiring pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
