  • A highly experienced security professional with a strong background in military, law enforcement, or combined service
  • Proven ability to perform decisively in high-risk, high-stress environments
  • Exceptional situational awareness, judgment, and crisis-management skills
  • Advanced training in tactical operations, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively during emergencies
  • High level of physical fitness, stamina, and endurance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in military, law enforcement, or related high-risk security roles

What You Will Do:

The Quick Response Officer (QRO) is a specialized, elite internal security professional responsible for rapid, decisive response to high-risk security incidents and critical emergencies across the hospital campus. This role serves as a first line of defense, protecting patients, staff, visitors, and hospital assets through expert-level training, sound judgment, and seamless coordination with internal teams and external emergency services.

Essential Job Functions include:

  • Rapidly deploy across hospital campuses in response to high-risk security incidents and urgent threats
  • Provide immediate intervention to mitigate risks and safeguard individuals and property
  • Apply advanced de-escalation techniques to manage volatile or combative situations involving patients, visitors, or staff
  • Conduct proactive and highly visible security patrols to deter potential threats
  • Support emergency operations during active threats, disasters, or lockdown situations
  • Coordinate and collaborate with law enforcement, EMS, fire departments, and other emergency responders
  • Maintain expert knowledge of hospital security systems, protocols, and emergency response procedures
  • Demonstrate flexibility and readiness for assignment across multiple facilities or locations
  • Exercise sound judgment, critical thinking, and composure during high-pressure and physically demanding events
  • Maintain physical readiness to perform sustained activity during prolonged or intense emergency situations
