Job Title: Order Picker Monday-Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm $18.50/hr
Job Description: Order Picker selects products from the warehouse and prepares for shipping.
Responsibilities:
  • Determine the priority of each order for the day based on LTL, small parcel, and NDA requirements.
  • Use the computer to determine components/locations/quantities needed to fulfill the pick line.
  • Assembles customer orders by weighing or counting items from stock.
  • Uses bagging sealer to prepare stock.
  • Packages assembled product with correct labels.
  • Package materials according to customer and Quick Cable weight requirements to prevent damage during shipment.
  • Provides completed pick ticket for each order including data entry of manually closing shop orders.
  • Observes all safety rules and regulations.
  • Uses step ladders to retrieve inventory off racking.
  • Reports unsafe acts to the supervisor.
  • Cleans and maintains work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership team.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 to 3 months distribution and/or order processing experience preferred.
  • Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to perform operations by use of a scale and tape measurer.
  • Ability to accurately read and write in English and comprehend instructions.
  • Ability to complete and comprehend pick tickets, bill of material, and routing instructions.
  • Proficient with basic computer data entry.
  • Requires high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis
  • Sustain 8 hours or more standing and walking.
  • Must have 20/30 vision or better, and/or have corrective glasses to meet this requirement.

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm, willing to work overtime when needed.
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
