Located onsite at our state-of-the-art Surgical Center, this role offers an engaging and fast-paced environment where you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals. You will be involved in various surgical cases and have the opportunity to gain expertise in specialized medical procedures while ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort. The work schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts from Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities on Saturdays.

• Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients by conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments, and managing follow-up care to ensure continuity of health.
• Collaborative Approach: Work in tandem with physicians and healthcare professionals to devise individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Clinical Procedures: Perform essential medical procedures in alignment with established protocols. This includes assisting during surgeries, managing postoperative care, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
• On-Call Coverage: Take part in an on-call rotation, providing quick medical consultations after hours, especially on Saturdays, to ensure timely patient care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records, meticulously documenting every patient interaction, treatment plan, and clinical outcome following established guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Patient Education: Empower patients and their families with knowledge about medical conditions and treatment options, enhancing their understanding and participation in the healing process.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and ethical standards, actively promoting patient safety and quality in all practices.
• Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education and training opportunities to stay current with medical advancements and improve your clinical skills.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives by contributing to case reviews and audits, aimed at enhancing patient care and safety.
• Communication: Foster open lines of communication with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team to create a collaborative atmosphere conducive to optimal care.

You will care for a diverse patient population, ranging from pre-operative to post-operative individuals requiring surgical intervention. The role requires a compassionate approach, as you will address the medical needs of patients from various backgrounds while attending to their emotional and psychological well-being during their treatment journey.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant healthcare field from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Current Physician Assistant license to practice in the state of Arizona.
• Certifications: BLS certification preferred; additional advanced certifications are advantageous.
• Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, effective verbal and written communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

While candidates with prior surgical experience are encouraged to apply, we are open to discussing opportunities for new graduates eager to learn in a supportive environment. Additional experience in patient care coordination or working in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team is valued.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 90,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
