Job Description

The Quick Lane Technician is responsible for performing basic maintenance and light repair services in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow in the automotive industry with a dealership that values training, professionalism, and internal advancement.

Job Type & Schedule
  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Pay: Based on experience and certifications

Work Requirements:

  • Work Schedule: 10-hour shift, 4 days a week.

  • Ability to Commute: Overland Park, KS (Required)

  • Work Location: In person

Responsibilities
  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other basic maintenance services

  • Conduct vehicle inspections and notify the service team of any issues or needed repairs

  • Replace filters, bulbs, wipers, and other minor components as needed

  • Maintain a clean and organized service bay

  • Ensure all work is performed according to dealership and manufacturer guidelines

  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and fellow technicians

  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 6+ months of automotive maintenance or technician experience preferred

  • Basic understanding of vehicle systems and repair procedures

  • Strong attention to detail and safety procedures

  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment

  • Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced technician roles

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
