Tenvoorde Ford is seeking a skilled Quick Lane Technician!

Responsibilities

What does a Quick Lane Technician do?

  • Performs maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
  • Prioritizes and plans work flow with manager to meet demands and customer needs.
  • Coordinates with Part Department to ensure parts are available to complete repairs.
  • Completes service and repair assignments correctly to pass quality inspections or test drives.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly.
  • Suggests additional work that is needed to the Service Advisor so the customer may be notified.
  • Assists Service Advisors, if necessary, to explain completed repairs to a customer.
  • Promotes dealership by presenting professional image, positive attitude, and clean work area.
  • Meets or exceeds productivity and quality goals.
  • Obtain and maintain Ford Technician certifications
  • May do other types of repairs and maintenance depending on work demand.

Qualifications

  • At least 1+ years of automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools, equipment and computer software.
  • Must be a “team player”
