Job description

We are looking for an Auto Repair Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems. An automotive repair technician will inspect, diagnoses, and repairs vehicle mechanical and electronic systems. Core responsibilities include routine maintenance, component replacements, and system diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostics: Use computerized equipment and tools to find mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine tasks like oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Repairs: Fix or replace worn, damaged, or broken parts in engines, transmissions, steering, and suspension systems.
  • Testing: Test drive vehicles or use specialized equipment to verify that repairs solved the original issue.
  • Communication: Explain repair needs and costs clearly to service advisors or customers.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate logs of parts used, work completed, and recommended future service.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of a vocational training program or automotive apprenticeship is preferred.
    • Experience: Professional hands-on repair experience, ranging from entry-level to several years for master technician roles.
    • Certifications: Valid driver’s license and ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are heavily preferred.
