Job description

$52-$60/hr. | Full-Time | Brownsville, TX | School-Based | School Psychologist Certification Required
About the Role: Provide comprehensive psychological services to students in a school-based setting. You'll conduct evaluations, support IEP and 504 plan development, provide crisis intervention, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure every student has the support they need to succeed.

What You'll Do:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of cognitive, emotional, adaptive, and behavioral functioning using standardized assessments
  • Develop and consult on IEPs and 504 plans based on assessment data
  • Create evidence-based interventions and strategies tailored to student needs
  • Provide crisis support during emergencies and deliver staff training on mental health and behavior management
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress
  • Prepare detailed reports for IEP meetings and evaluations
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and plan student interventions

What We're Looking For:
Must Have:
  • Department of Education School Psychologist Certification in the state where services are delivered
  • DOJ/FBI background check and TB clearance
  • Eligibility to work in the US

Preferred:
  • Certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
  • Prior experience working as a school psychologist
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
