Job description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quartz fabricator/machine operator to join our dynamic team. This role requires the ability to work with hand tools, great teamwork, communication, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of CNC operations
  • Ability to load tooling into machines
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds independently
  • Fabricate components based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Assemble parts in accordance to provided drawings.
  • Ensure all work adheres to relevant codes and standards.
  • Operate hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers.
  • Rig materials and components safely for transport within the facility.
  • Operate forklifts to move materials as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

Experience

  • Proven experience in fabrication and assembly within a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools and precision measuring equipment like micrometers is required.
  • Knowledge of codes and standards related to fabrication is a plus.
