Job description

We are seeking a Ground Laborer to support daily quarry and plant operations by performing general labor tasks, maintaining a safe worksite, and assisting equipment operators and plant personnel. This is a physically demanding, outdoor role focused on safety, cleanup, and material handling in an active quarry environment. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
  • Assist quarry and plant operations with daily operations
  • Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in construction or related industry preferred
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
  • Basic math and measurement skills
