Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundman/Maintenance Technician to join our quarry team. This position is responsible for supporting daily quarry operations by performing general labor, preventative maintenance, and equipment repairs while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and willing to work in an outdoor industrial setting.
Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on quarry equipment and facilities.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance on conveyors, crushers, screens, and other plant equipment.
  • Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a safe operating environment.
  • Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect equipment and report mechanical issues to supervisors.
  • Assist mechanics with repairs and equipment installations.
  • Follow all company safety policies and MSHA regulations.
  • Perform general labor duties as needed to support quarry operations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to keep production running efficien
