Titan Florida, LLC has an immediate opening for a Truck Driver for our Pennsuco Quarry Aggregates Division in Medley, FL. This wage non-exempt position is assigned to the Quarry Department and will report to the Quarry Manager or leadman.
Responsibilities
  • Perform all required safety checks and follow all safety rules, regulations and actively participate in the Safety Committee meetings.
  • Operate the equipment safely and efficiently to maintain production standards, always looking for ways to be more productive.
  • Ability to recognize when machine is not working correctly and react accordingly.
  • Perform a pre-operation inspection on equipment.
  • Fill out all required paperwork.
  • Drive defensively while working and moving material to Primary.
  • Communicate with the Primary Tower Operator, Loader Operators and Quarry Manager.
  • Keep equipment clean and safe.
  • Clean with a shovel, water hose, etc. when the primary or truck is down.
  • Assist maintenance department as needed when equipment is down for repairs.
  • Willing and able to task train on various equipment.

Qualifications
  • Safety minded, eager to learn new things, positive attitude.
  • Safety conscious at all times for the protection of self, team members, and community.
  • Excellent communication skills with professional decorum, oral and written.
  • Basic knowledge of material specifications, preferred.
  • Ability to work well with others. Easy to supervise.
  • Basic knowledge in equipment operation.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Able to see, hear, walk, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Maintain a current Florida Driver's License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.

Shift:
3rd Shift (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.). Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary. Must be able to work rotating shift as necessary.
