Job description

Job Title: CDL Driver (Marine Construction)
Location: Brevard County
Company: RUSH Marine, LLC.
Job Overview
RUSH Marine, LLC. (a division of RUSH Construction, Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for transporting construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations. The ideal candidate is dependable, experienced operating heavy trucks, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate CDL-required vehicles including dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor trailers
  • Transport construction materials, aggregates, equipment, and supplies between yards and job sites
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
  • Secure loads in accordance with DOT safety regulations
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation
  • Follow all company safety policies and job site procedures
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and job site personnel
  • Assist in other areas as needed

Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A (with clean driving record)
  • Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience (construction or heavy equipment transport preferred)
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate dump trucks, trailers, or similar heavy vehicles
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong reliability and punctuality
  • Must be willing to help with other things as needed

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in construction, paving, site work, or aggregate hauling
  • Equipment operation experience (loader, skid steer, etc.)
  • Current DOT medical card
