Position Summary:

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of South Florida invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, Postdoctoral Fellow position beginning on or before August 7, 2026.

Minimum Qualifications: Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in mathematics, computer science, or a related field. ABD candidates are accepted, but the degree must be conferred before the intended start date. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.

Preferred Qualifications: An established record of publications in applied algebra, in particular in quantum computing.
