Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quantum Solutions Architect based in Netherlands.

As a Quantum Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in helping organizations explore, adopt, and maximize the value of quantum computing technologies. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to design solutions, deliver impactful demonstrations, and guide complex technical discussions. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer engagement, allowing you to translate advanced quantum concepts into practical business applications. You will work with organizations across industries, supporting innovation in areas such as finance, healthcare, automotive, logistics, and research. This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth of an emerging technology while helping shape the future of quantum software adoption.

Accountabilities
  • Partner with sales and go-to-market teams to qualify opportunities, define technical strategies, and develop customer engagement plans.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer challenges and identify opportunities where quantum computing solutions can deliver value.
  • Design and deliver customized demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations tailored to different audiences, from developers to executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor by explaining complex quantum computing concepts clearly and guiding customers toward informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify customer needs, share market feedback, and influence future product development.
  • Identify new technical opportunities during customer interactions and help expand adoption across different industries and use cases.
  • Develop and maintain reusable technical assets, implementation resources, and proof-of-concept templates to support customer engagements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Presales Engineer, Technical Consultant, Product Manager, or System Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of quantum information, quantum software engineering, or quantum algorithm development.
  • Academic background in Computer Science, Quantum Information, Quantum Computing, or a related technical discipline with experience in deep technology environments.
  • Ability to understand complex technical challenges and translate them into practical solutions for customers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain advanced concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working independently in remote environments while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
  • Based in Europe with professional fluency in English and the ability to communicate with local customers in their native language.
  • Additional experience in chemistry, scientific computing, or a Ph.D. in a relevant technical field is considered a strong advantage.
