Work Schedule: Hybrid - Buffalo, NY

The corporate finance team is seeking a summer 2026 block intern. The intern will have a hybrid work schedule.

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $18.90-$22.50 Hourly


A Finance Intern supports a company’s finance department by assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and operational tasks while gaining practical experience in corporate finance.

Role Overview

A Finance Intern is typically a student or recent graduate working temporarily within a finance department to gain hands-on experience. This role involves assisting experienced finance professionals with daily operations, financial reporting, data analysis, budgeting, and compliance tasks, providing exposure to the practical application of financial concepts in a business environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Represent Multisorb in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.

· Assist with financial data entry, recording transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records in accounting software or spreadsheets.

· Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

· Perform financial analysis, including variance, trend, and ratio analysis to evaluate performance and identify improvement areas.

· Help with budgeting and forecasting by gathering data, updating models, and preparing reports for budget meetings.

· Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure accuracy.

· Participate in audits and compliance reviews, providing documentation and assisting with audit preparations.

· Conduct research on market trends, industry conditions, and financial regulations to support strategic planning.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as accounting, treasury, and FP&A to coordinate activities.

· Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information, adhering to company policies and compliance standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications

· Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.

· Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial modeling.

· Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and data visualization tools is advantageous.

· Soft skills: attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving, adaptability, teamwork, and time management.
